Hi all. Howard Paul, the president and CEO of Benedetto Guitars hipped me to this video featuring the young and oh so talented Andreas Varady. I know I go on about his kid sometimes, but I think he’s just fantastic with a great spirit and of course, youthful energy! At 14 he’s sounding really great and I can only imagine how he’ll sound when he gets older. Of course, for now he’s playing a lot from the George Benson playbook, but when he realizes his own voice, I’m sure it’s going to be killer! Kind of like Julian Lage who has blossomed with age into a rather unique stylist all his own.

This is the link to the tune, but there is another clip on the site which features Andreas doing a panel interview prior to playing with the band. The host reminds me of David Letterman, except this host has a moveable desk that goes quite fast (you gotta see it to understand what I’m saying).
