My friend Ike Isaacs (died a few years back) used to say that Martin was the best. Ike recorded stuff on his reel to reel with Wes, Joe Pass, Barney Kessel..the list is very very long...and he said Martin was the best he'd ever heard or played with. A very big call, but he meant it. Have you heard him play 'I get along without you very well' solo guitar.... it's all in there. Interesting blog site Martin is a very good player.
