Jazz Guitarist Bill Frisell turns 58 today and there seems to be no slowing down for the eclectic Guitarist. Check out his website for a slew of tour dates and recording projects. Jazz Guitar Life recently received the duo CD Hemispheres, featuring both Jim Hall and Frisell, for review, so watch for that in the next JGL update coming soon. And speaking of recordings, Frisell has  a new section of downloadable live performances on his website, and while not free the cost is relatively little for what you get. Definitely worth a check of the samples if nothing else. Bill seems to have a sense of what his audience wants and this new feature is sure to please a heck of a lot of listeners…:) Way to go Bill and Happy Birthday!!
