Jazz Guitarist Julian Lage is finally releasing his first CD as a leader today in association with Artist Share. Sounding Point is the title of Lage’s newest project and from the little I have heard, it sounds inspiring…:) But don’t just take my word for it, click on over to Julian’s Artist Share page and hear some of it for yourself. I gotta tell ya, I was more than pleasantly surprised by just how fresh the sample tune sounded. And the various influences that find their way through Lage’s writing are exciting both musically and stylistically. I look forward to hearing more from this CD and from Julian himself who appears to be developing a clear and unique voice within the Jazz Guitar community and beyond.
