Hey Mat. Too bad that you missed Julian. He will be coming to the Montreal Jazz Fest as the opening act for the Maria Schneider Orchestra which is going to be a hoot and a half…:) I’m hoping that I’ll be able to attend that show and maybe even meet Julian…also Ben Monder usually plays with Maria so maybe it will be a two-fer for the Guitar Players…:) Take care Matt and thanks for dropping by.

Julian is great, can’t wait to check out his new CD. He was in Chicago a few months back but unfortunately I missed him. I’ll definitely be catching him the next time around!

I saw Lage playing at IAJE in New York. It was fiery and inspiring. I really dig the vibe of his new album.
