The Great Guitarists Concert Series
Mar 23rd, 2009 by admin

If you’re looking for some serious Jazz Guitar playing, and you happen to find yourself in Macungie, PA, then make your way over to the Macungie Institute to check out a smokin’ Jazz Guitar series featuring some of today’s most prolific Jazz Guitarists.
Kicking the event off on Thursday, March 26, 2009 is the always swingin’ Chuck Anderson alongside the comparable Jazz Guitar talent of Frank DiBussolo. In fact, Frank will be the one constant in a stream of talent as he performs with the likes of Bob DeVos on April 23, John Stowell on May 21, Steve Herberman and Mike Gellar on the 18th of June, Howard Alden on July 16, Jack Wilkins on August 20 and Bucky Pizzarelli on September 10.
From this esteemed group of top-tier players, this sounds like it will be a very successful, enjoyable and fun Jazz Guitar concert series and one that I wish I could see first hand. I’m a big fan of all involved and it’s not everyday you get to see this type of event. If anyone gets to see any or all of this series, I would greatly appreciate a heads-up as to how it was. I am including the official press release information below. Later…
