Bruce Forman's L5 alongside Barney Kessels ES 350
Hey all. Just a quick post to mention the extremely talented Jazz Guitar player Bruce Forman has a new CD coming out soon featuring him in a trio setting. According to Bruce, the new CD, titled “Formanism”, should be out in a couple of weeks. I for one am looking forward to it and it will be great to hear Bruce in a trio setting where he can let loose with all that pent-up harmonic ability he has stored inside 
So to get you in the mood of this anticipated release, below is a pic of Bruce playing Barney’s guitar. I doubt it will have made it onto the CD but I’m sure his beloved L5 will be featured front and center!
On the topic of Barney’s Gibson ES 350, Bruce states: “She needs a bit of a set-up, but still in the same shape as when Barney was gigging on her. He always had it set up tough to play, he was a beast, and i think he liked the way it might’ve kept people from wanting to sit in.”
Oh the stories that guitar could tell!!

That’s a sweet guitar with a sweet guitar player! Would love to hear Bruce do a gig or a recording with Barney’s guitar. Now that would be something!
